Welcome to the Hoyer Images website! This website is both a personal and public project, and I do not know where it will take me. So far it has languished in 2023, but that will change in the coming weeks as I start to update this site and share 2023 photos, of which I’ve taken plenty, with trips to Puerto Rico, Maine, Minnesota’s North Shore and plenty of local shots, too. It’s easy to find ourselves just trying to get by in a crazy, unsettled world. Find something you love, that motivates you, that fulfills you, that rewards you, and do it.

The beautiful and unique region that I live in also inspires me to get out and enjoy it. The hills, trout streams, big rivers and gravel backroads are all begging to be explored. So do it!

There’s a lot to be seen and photographed and experienced. Much of it has been seen and shared and experienced before but not in the unique way that you or I might on any given day, or time, or light, or mood.
